Popiah~

i love popiahs~
The main ingredient in the filling is the sliced turnip and carrot cooked with dried shrimps, sweet soya sauce, ginger paste, chinese lettuce, eggs and grounded peanuts. Additional ingredients include, beansprout, prawn, waxed sausage, cucumber, fried crispy bits...etc. The popiah skin is usually made with rice flour and comes in 2 forms, with egg and without egg.

QiJi's popiah are pretty good ya, good overall mouth-feel with alittle 'crunchy' feel from the fresh beansprouts. Their regular popiah costs $1.80 and $2.20 for additional chicken or prawn ya.

If you really love popiahs, you must try Margaret Drive's Queenstown Popiah & Joo Chiat's famous popiah. They are excellent.
