Happy Valentine's day to one and all~ :)
It's not just v'day today, it's dad's birthday too ya~ My Mum prepared a feast tonight~ She started her cooking late ya, so dinner only started at 9pm, even later then at wedding dinners -_- Oh! i had my first "Yu Sheng" just now, keke~
It's actually a serving for 8 people ya~
Vegetable (cai sim) with mushrooms
Kang Kung with grounded chilli padi
Fried scallop nuggets & fish cake wrapped with bean curd skin
Fried rice
Chilli crab (Star No. 1 of the night)
Home-baked birthday cake: Longan's Chocolate ganache-blackforest cake~ (Star No.2)
Layers (bottom-up):- Crushed biscuit base
- Chocolate sponge cake
- Blackcurrent jam and a thin layer of whipped cream
- Chocolate sponge cake
- Chocolate ganache
- Almond nuts and longans
- Whipped cream (side)
Though the cake wasn't exactly "good-looking", it was well received, my dad had a double serving ya~ (phew~ thanx goodness~)
