i totally enjoyed the popiah! i guess it's the way they seasoned the turnip (tasty and spicy) that made it so special. It costs $1.20 per piece which includes tau gay, chinese lettuce, ground peanuts, mock crab meat and seasoned turnip with carrots. i love the chilli they used (really spicy~) and their generous serving. It's yummie-licous~ :p~~~
Ingredients
Method
Simple steps...
Boil noodles in hot water, remove and set aside.
Add Prima premix, paste and laksa leaves into the pot boiling water.
Add in prepared ingredients e.g. fishballs, meatballs, tau pok, tau kwa, fishcakes...etc
Allow laksa gravy to cook for a further 5 mins under low to medium heat.
Add ingredients and gravy to noodles and serve. Enjoy~
p.s. i reduced the sugar by half (added only 50 grams), the cake was already sufficiently sweet for me. Can you imagine the amount of sugar they add into the cakes you buy from confectionery shops...
The stall also sells handmade noodles, zha3 jiang4 mian4 and porridge.

Probably a cone ice cream would have been a better idea...
