Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread~

Ta dah~ Here's another original recipe to share with all of you~ This bread cake is nice, moist and slightly sweet.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 1.5 cup Bread flour
  • 1 sachet Instant milo mix
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon spice
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 11 g Instant yeast
  • 3 tbs Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup Cold water
  • 1/3 cup Fresh milk
  • 1 tsp Banana essence
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Butter/shortening

Method

  1. Add all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the cold water, fresh milk, banana essence an egg.
  3. Mix well, knead to form a dough.
  4. Place dough into a non-stick baking loaf tin and allow it to double in size for 45 mins to 1 hour.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees celcius for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
