Walnut Brownie~

Fresh from the oven this morning~
~*Walnut Brownie*~



Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 6 Tbs Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 Cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Bicarbonate Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup toasted Walnuts (chopped)

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 170 degrees. In a mixing bowl, add melted butter with unsweetened cocoa powder and stir well to mix.
  2. Add in sugar, eggs, sifted flour, bicarbonate soda and vanilla essence respectively. Mix well before each addition.
  3. Add the walnuts to the batter and mix in 5 to 6 stirs. Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 square baking pan and bake at 170 degrees for 35 minutes (or till toothpick comes out clean).
  4. Cool before cutting. Can be served chilled or warmed. Best served with a scoop of your favourite ice cream.
