It was like a light mini international buffet high tea session at the Straits cafe, there was a comfortable variety, ranging from simple western salad, Italian alio olio pasta, chinese kong bak pau, glutinous rice, chee cheong fun, chwee kueh, savoury fried yam (with meat fillings), laksa, japanese assorted sushi, cha soba, cold tofu, chilled prawns, pastries and d.i.y sandwhiches, rojak, popiah and kueh pai tee, and sweet dessert such as barley with gingko, cheng ting, assorted nonya kuehs, cakes, fruits and ice cream... wohoho~ that kind of covers most of 'em...
The friendly and prompt service simply made the semi-fine dining experience more pleasant and enjoyable~ :)

~*Popiah! Rojak! Kueh Pai Tee*~
Omigosh! i almost went bonkers when i saw this little d.i.y rojak/popiah/kueh pai tee section... i had lotsa fun making my very own customised rojak (lotsa sliced cucumbers, guava, kangkung, bean sprout and lesser fried you tiao :p)
~*Cha Soba anyone?*~
~*Desserts*~
Ooh, sugar high~ There was a wide variety of nonya kueh to choose from, i was kinda spoilt for choice... The jiggly mango pudding was good, adored the lapis cake but i found the cute mini apple crumble a'lil too sweet for me.
