i found another cornflake cookie recipe from Cuisine Asia. This recipe is different from the previous as it uses cooking oil (either soya bean or canola) instead of butter. i substituted the self raising flour with cake flour (together with baking powder and a pinch of salt). i didn't quite like the taste of the cookie, they tasted kind of wierd, probably it was due to the cooking oil that i used.
