Fruit cake~

i shopped for baking ingredients at phoon huat yesterday. Their wide range of bakery & confectionery ingredients, utensils and moulds is simply amazing ya~

After soaking the mixed fruits in rum overnight, i was all eager and excited to bake the fruit cake this morning. Everything went on smoothly until the step to set the baking duration. i reduced the quantity of the ingredients by half during the batter preparation, but i forgot to reduce the baking time accordingly. As a result, the cake was left in the oven for too long and became rather dry ya (thank goodness it wasn't burnt). The taste & flavour of the fruit cake was good, except that it was alittle dry ya.
